The ECCRI Welcomes A New Senior Research Associate
The European Cyber Conflict Research Initiative (ECCRI) welcomes Louise Marie Hurel as a new Senior Research Associate. She will join Dan Black and Jamie MacColl in the Associate program. Louise will strengthen ECCRI’s commitment to cutting-edge, original research that harnesses the insights of leading thinkers and practitioners in cyber conflict.
Louise Marie Hurel is a researcher specializing in the intersections of technology, cybersecurity, and geopolitics. Her scholarly work primarily revolves around expertise, private governance, diplomacy, capacity building, development, and emerging threats as they relate to cybersecurity. She is a Research Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) Cyber Team while concurrently finalizing her doctoral degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
